300 FAVORITE MOVIES (in no particular order)

175. Blade Runner (1982)

"I don’t know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody’s life; my life. All he’d wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die."

One of the reasons I am so proud to love this show. And so glad that I was introduced to it at such a young age. Is that the show’s morals and values were INCREDIBLY influential on my own.

Moments like this. Repeated over and over and OVER again throughout the series. Where the army and the mass mentality is saying “They’re the enemy, they’re the ones we’re fighting, so they are LESS VALUABLE as humans.” Which is SO FUCKED UP and also SO REALISTIC IT MAKES ME SICK.

and over and over and over and OVER again, the show’s protagonists slap that thinking in the face and say “A life is a life, end of story.”
